Anyway less of that nonsense for the time being and let’s focus on what’s been happening in my first full month here at My Eclectic Reads.

Personal_Blog UpdateFirst up I’ve got to say that I’ve loved every minute of of the time I’ve spent on my blog. I’ve connected with loads of new people and have been joining in with a lot of the memes organised by other bloggers.

I think I’m finally getting the hang of everything and over the next couple of weeks will be making some slight tweaks to my blog as I put my own mark on things.

I’ve got some fab ideas for some new features in the coming months so please stick around. I am planning some changes over on my bookstagram so I’d love it if you could come and join me over on Instagram.

Favourite Book of the Month.jpg

Alice_ The Wanderland Chronicles

My favourite book of the month has to be Alice: The Wanderland Chronicles by J M Sullivan. It was totally outside my comfort zone, yet I loved it and will definitely be reading more from this author.

Reading Challenge Update.jpg

Despite having a rubbish month this month I’m actually doing quite well overall on my reading challenge for this year.

One thing I have been slacking with is my own personal challenge to read more books outside my usual genre and I will be sharing my current status with this very soon.

Books BoughtReceived This Month

It’s no wonder I struggle to get through my TBR list when I add this many books throughout the month.

Out of the 21 books I’ve added there are 6 from NetGalley and one ARC for a book tour. The rest are made up of books I’ve downloaded from BookBub, my Kindle First choice or purchased myself.

So that’s how May looked for me and I hope is was as good for you. Here’s hoping June treats us just as well.
